GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY
Builds administrative, technical and business development skills in mortgage lending by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Develops a working knowledge of mortgage lending through on-the-job training, mentoring and participation in a schedule of job specific training including cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, business development, portfolio management, general underwriting, etc.
2. Becomes familiar with bank policies and procedures, and industry practices and regulations through reading technical and procedural manuals, and reports and publications related to lending and the banking industry.
3. Represents the bank in the community in order to develop and promote additional business.
4. Completes special projects assigned by supervisor.
5. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
