FlyOver Attractions by Pursuit Collection is Hiring a SR Marketing & Sales Manager Near Las Vegas, NV

Overview

The Marketing & Sales Manager is a highly collaborative role that contributes to the development of sales and marketing strategies that build on the commercial success we’ve achieved since opening in the Fall of 2021. Leading a team of two sales and marketing professionals, and working closely with other contributors from across Flyover and Pursuit, the Marketing & Sales Manager will ensure our marketing, advertising, media, and sales channel strategies are driving strong returns and rapidly growing our business. The Marketing & Sales Manager will also liaise with our brand and guest experience teams to ensure we are delivering a truly exceptional and differentiated experience to all our guests.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with the Director, Marketing & Sales, Flyover Las Vegas on creation of annual plans and budget, including optimizing marketing and sales strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion in collaboration with the larger marketing and sales support teams.
  • Leverage the support of the larger Pursuit organization and external agencies to deliver targeted, relevant and effective marketing communications, promotions, social engagement, website conversion, brand experience and ultimately increased attraction ticket sales.
  • Develop and optimize all Flyover Las Vegas partner relationships and contracts
  • Work closely with Revenue Maximization and Reservations teams to ensure proper inventory allocation and utilization
  • Be a brand advocate for Flyover, constantly evaluating and ensuring all touchpoints within the guest experience align to brand.
  • Lead/own relationships with local sales and marketing partners, DMOs, tourism authorities and boards.
  • Assist with media, influencer and partner visits including the management of all in-market FAM logistics.
  • Project manage the creation of signage and other in-property activations, and act as the point person for other departments when requesting updated and/or new signage.
  • Provide guidance to the web development team on updates and maintaining content on the website and work with other members of the Pursuit digital marketing team to increase the overall conversion rate and user experience.
  • Compile weekly and monthly marketing and sales performance reports and working with the Director, Flyover Las Vegas to provide insight on such reports.
  • Manage the marketing and sales budget and have the ability to process invoices and update the budget as directed by the Director, Marketing & Sales, Flyover Las Vegas to provide insight on such reports.
  • Support the Director, Marketing & Sales, Flyover Las Vegas to provide insight on such reports. and the larger Pursuit marketing team with all other tasks as directed.

Ideal Experience and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, resort management, tourism or general business is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ marketing and sales experience within the Las Vegas market required
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality, marketing, sales public relations and accounting principles is required
  • Advanced computer knowledge is required: MS Office, Adobe CS suite, digital marketing, social media
  • Excellent oral & written communications skills required; including public speaking
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to build & maintain professional relationships required within all divisions of Flyover, Pursuit, Viad, local community organizations and our suppliers & vendors
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • A valid United States passport is required
