At Flynn, creating breakthroughs for clients is our mission—a mission we can’t truly fulfill without a steady stream of data- and research-based insights. That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Data Architect. This role will be a master of blending data from a myriad of sources to help business users see “the big picture”.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the management, organization and accessibility of all in-house client, vendor, and marketing program data from initial concept through implementation
• Design data structures; integrate, query, and validate data from enterprise-scale (SQL) databases, for input into client-facing business intelligence and reporting tools
• Prepare data for advanced analytics and predictive modeling
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, quality and scalability
• Collaborate with the agency’s Information Technology Team in database management and maintenance; data privacy and security
• Participate in strategic planning for Flynn’s data and analytics offerings and resourcing
• Direct client communication and presentations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science field or equivalent experience in enterprise computing and technology
• Hands-on experience with database/datawarehousing technologies and methodologies
• Python, or other object-oriented programming experience to support file ingestion, API calls, and ETL procedures
• Lifelong learner with a strong desire to expand and maintain technical expertise
• Understanding of, and experience with, making API calls to Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other websites

Bonus Points For:

• Proficiency with Snowflake database management
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM applications (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
• Google Analytics and Google Marketing Platform certification highly desired
• Foundational understanding of website architecture and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal)
• Tag management solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Adobe Tag Manger, etc.)
