Manager

The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium has been serving good beer to good people since 1995. Where else can you be surrounded with over 200 draft and bottled beers and get paid to work there? The Flying Saucer is not in the brewing business, we are in the business of presenting to our loyal following many of the best craft and bottled beers from the USA and abroad. The Flying Saucer allows its guests to compare flavors, brewing techniques, and styles of hundreds of domestic and international beers without ever leaving their bar stool. In addition, we present delicious taste thrills in the form of gourmet sandwiches, salads, sausages, and cheeses to accent the flavors of these fine beers. We are now seeking Managers for our Little Rock, AR location.

Experience:

· Minimum 2 years as a manager in a full service (table service and full bar) restaurant

· A high level of understanding of the systems and operations of a restaurant.

· Ability and experience with profit/loss statements (not necessary, but preferred)

Qualifications:

· High School degree or Equivalent required

· Must be over 21 years of age

· Strong communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills

· The ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent

· Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and on your feet up to 10-12 hours per day.

· Must be able to transport items up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

· Someone who thinks for themselves

· Someone who will not crater when the pressure is on

· A problem solver

· Appreciation for FINE BEER or a commitment to learn this business

· High standards in food quality, customer service and cleanliness

· Must be TABC/ABC certified

· Mandatory attendance to ALL monthly staff meetings held on Sunday mornings

· Must be able to work late night late hours

· Must have a valid Food Handlers Management Certificate

Salary: $45,000-55,000 plus monthly bonuses (paid each period at 13 periods per year)
