ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The grounds around the entity are held to the highest standard as they are one of many aspects that maintain the brand.

• Assists in performing maintenance on ornamental beds, baskets, pots, wagons on the Club grounds and golf course
• Communicates with team members to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
• Monitors and assists in fertility and checking water needs
• Competent with safe operation of power equipment utilized in the daily maintenance of ornamental plants and shrubs
• Incorporates safe working practices while performing necessary duties of the job

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 1 year experience in horticulture field or nursery work preferred, but not required
• Greenhouse experience preferred, but not required
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Ability to work for long periods standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling
• Must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, possess good organizational and communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at a time
• Must be willing and able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision
• This job requires weekends, holidays and overtime as needed

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

Will have contact with various members of Flying Horse staff, HOA personnel, homeowners and other industry related people and is to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing and operational success of the company.
