Position Summary:

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for all duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager and will follow the leadership of the head Custodian. The Facilities Custodian should be a self-motivated employee that is able to keep good documentation to provide information to the Maintenance Manager. The hours for this position are 7:30AM to 11:30 AM Monday through Friday as a part-time employee.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean all bathrooms: office bathroom, both men’s bathrooms, both women’s bathrooms and the secured waste bathroom daily unless otherwise notified
• Maintain and replenish inventory for cleaning and supplies
• Clean and remove trash from the Foyer, Front Office, METRC office, Security office, and breakroom daily unless otherwise notified
• Clean the locker rooms and changing rooms
• Sort and prep scrubs daily
• Assist Cintas as needed for weekly scrub and uniform change outs
• Always abide by all bio security rules
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately.
• Must comply with state regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to pass a background check required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1-3 years of experience in custodian/housekeeping activities.
• Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
• A combination of the above shall also be considered.

Physical Requirements:

• Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting.
• Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.
• Ability to observe and assess material that deviates from established company standards.
• Some crouching or holding uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time; repetitive motions.
• Requires bending and lifting up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Similar to a busy manufacturing facility or warehouse.
• Occasional exposure to loud trim machines (ear protection provided) and extremely bright lights (eye protection provided).
• Constant interaction with colleagues.
