The Quality Lab Technician inspects finished products, checking for specified colors or textures, verifying dimensions or ensuring safety and durability.
Duties/Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Identify imperfections using mechanical or electronic equipment or chemical analysis.
· Perform routine tests to determine if the products meet certain standards.
· Conduct analyses of the samples, compile data and interpret the results
· Report inconsistencies, malfunctions or variations from prototype
Required Skills/Ablities
· 2 years’ experience in precision inspection and quality systems, in a manufacturing
environment.
· Knowledge and use of Micrometers, Calipers, Thread & Pin Gauges, Surface Plates and
height Gauges.
· Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Windows applications.
· Familiar with ISO standards a plus.
· Attention to detail, accurate and concise.
· Able to keep neat and organized record and files.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Safety conscious at all times.
· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to read and write in
English.
· Authorized to work in the US.
· Be able to perform basic physical tasks such as lifting 50lbshands for typing and writing
· Degree preferred, high school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged, standing and walking.
· Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, squat, lift and reaching
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
· Must be able to work and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
