Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Master Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in supply chain management, forecasting, MRP systems, lean manufacturing principles, and demand planning. If you have a knack for predicting and fabricating production schedules efficiently while maintaining inventory control, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on demand forecasts
- Utilize MRP systems to plan and schedule production orders
- Vaticinate resource requirements and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely production
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage inventory levels effectively
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience as a Master Scheduler or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Expertise in demand planning, inventory control, and production scheduling
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in MRP systems and advanced knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
