Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the point of sale.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cash registers and receive payments from customers in the form of cash, credit, or debit cards.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving their inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stock products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Upsell products or services to customers when appropriate.
Requirements:
- Able to lift 40 lbs
- Strong knowledge of basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to acquire and Oklahoma Employee Alcohol License
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Previous experience in retail sales is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
