Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. We are looking for someone who wants a career, to make a name for themselves, not just a job. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This includes bathing, trimming, styling, and overall grooming to ensure that pets look and feel their best.

Duties:

- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning

- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin and provide appropriate grooming treatments

- Follow grooming instructions provided by pet owners or veterinarians

- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing pet owners' concerns and answering their questions

- Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and products for at-home care

- Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or abnormalities and report them to the appropriate staff members

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer required.

- Training in pet grooming is a required. Minimum one year preferred

- Knowledge of different breeds, coat types, and grooming styles

- Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment

- Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners

Skills:

- Customer service skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing their needs and concerns.

- Kennel skills: Experience working in a kennel environment, including cleaning kennels, feeding animals, and providing basic care.

- Animal care skills: Understanding of animal behavior, health, nutrition, and basic care practices.

- Pet care skills: Knowledge of pet care routines, including feeding, exercise, and grooming.

- Pet grooming skills: Proficiency in bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets' coats.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
