Fluency, Inc. is Hiring an ESL Tutor for Advanced Professionals Near Fort Worth, TX

Important: on site location.

THIS JOB TAKES PLACE ON SITE in Fort Worth TX 76177.

Schedule: 4 hours per day (1 hour per employee held in office), on Mondays and Wednesdays. For example, 10am to 2pm.

8 hours a week total.

Contract length - 1 year. Available to renew yearly. Contract could also grow if you'd like. Many online job opportunities would also come with this placement.

Fluency Corp is a privately-owned group of talented instructors that want to take English-language teaching/executive language coaching (building fluency, polishing, improving communication) to a new level for the executives that we work with.

We not only teach our students English through relevant, interesting conversation (as we all learned our first language!), but we motivate them to keep learning by communicating with others in the community, and trying new ways to learn that truly boost fluency like TV and making friends. We also give highly customized lessons based on client's job and interests.

What we are looking for: energetic, passionate instructors that can engage highly educated professionals in meaningful, relevant conversation to build fluency and help them assimilate (IF APPLICABLE).

You must :

  • have 5 years teaching SPECIFICALLY to professional adults as private clients in person, online, or in small groups at a company
  • have experience creating communicative and relevant lessons for advanced English speakers
  • ability to assess your client's needs/goals during first week of lessons, and decide on a plan of action
  • be able to fill out a goals form and quarterly progress reports
  • decide on material/curriculum based on weekly needs of executive clients (could be accent work, email writing, presentations, grammar, business writing, building fluency through customized, relevant conversations, and more)
  • be always on time (preferably early)
  • be able to assess the student and found out what is most important and relevant for the lessons

All materials and books provided that you need for the client, but you choose what is relevant for the client. We have a suggestion list as well.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
