FLSmidth Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II for its office in Allentown, PA: Responsible to function as a product specialist for rotary dosing and weighing equipment for the cement and mineral processing industries including FLSmidth proprietary products. The position requires the minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years' experience in the job offered or any related occupation, to include: 2 years' experience as a Product Specialist working with microprocessor based Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and electrical instrumentation components for the cement and mineral processing industries; 2 years' experience commissioning PID controllers according to site specific standards including various technically advanced PLCs with SPSS Logic; 2 years' experience in commissioning, mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting as applicable to the rotary dosing and weighing aspects of a cement or mineral facility; 2 years' experience working with different types of VFDs, including Siemens, Schnneider, Allen Bradley, SEW Movidrive, and Nord; and 2 years' experience calibrating Pfister weighing equipment, including rotor weigh feeders, belt weigh feeders, and belt weighers. Incumbent will be required to travel 60-70% of the time on domestic and international trips lasting 1-2 weeks in duration. Work will be performed at various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Work from home within commuting distance of FLSmidth's office in Allentown, PA is permitted.
