Flowserve is Hiring a Production Planning Intern Near Springville, UT
Flowserve Corporation is a multinational company, and one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery such as pumps, valves, end face mechanical seals, automation, and services to the power, oil, gas, chemical and other industries.
Role Summary:Flowserve is looking for a motivated programming intern to work in the production planning department. This internship will provide exposure to planning production and manufacturing modules in a large manufacturing company. The intern will participate in reprogram reports to assist managers in aligning required levels of production to existing resources.
Responsibilities
- Identify the current infrastructure and implementation of Production Planning Oracle information.
- Solve issues by redesigning and improving data extraction and transfer.
- Reintegrate report formats with Oracle to automatically pull and update required data.
- Conduct a test period to ensure acceptability.
Requirements
- Must be a current college student (Junior or higher) pursuing a degree in a STEM-related field.
- Must have proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Must possess a strong teamwork mentality.
Preferred skills/experience
Experience working with Oracle, MRP.
