Corporate Trainer
Role:
Coordinate, prepare and conduct training. Plans, designs, and delivers training programs working closely with management to identify present and future training needs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Delivers new employee, sales and service technique and product and service training as assigned.
  • Designs, updates, and coordinates written training and online materials.
  • Type and maintain up-dated employee job descriptions, nonexempt job levels and training checklists. Assist Human Resources Director with typing as requested.
  • Develops criteria, measures and tracks training effectiveness, including written examinations and simulated activities. Tracks employee progress.
  • Maintain calendar of employee training events and notify management of those that have not been completed.
  • Provide other administrative support as assigned.
  • All employees are made aware of their responsibilities under the BSA/CIP/OFAC regulations with continuing training, to ensure that they adhere to our internal policy and procedures.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies.
Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school degree or GED required.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
