Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for patients seeking treatment
Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients
Provide information and answer questions about treatment options and procedures
Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service
Dental treatment coordinators use everyday language to explain necessary treatment options to patients
They utilize problem solving skills to help determine and solve patient barriers, as well as having the ability to offer financial options that best fits the patient's needs
Present and organize dental treatment for patients
Offer financial options to accommodate patient financial needs
Review and audit patent ledgers and charts
Coordinate schedule for patient treatment
Assist with answering phones and patient needs
Recall patients to fill Doctor's schedules
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
