ENT practice with 1 physician, 4 physician assistants and two locations (Plantation & Fort Lauderdale) looking for a full time bilingual patient representative with medical office experience that is outgoing, personable, friendly, organized, has excellent customer service skills, a team player and dedicated to quality patient care.
Patient Representative will be responsible for:
Check-in & Check-out
Answering incoming calls and retrieving voicemails with patient call backs
Obtaining referral & authorizations
Insurance eligibility & verification of benefits
Contacting patients about benefits & financial responsibility
Creating patient financial quotes and estimates
Charge entry
Collecting copay, deductibles, co-insurance and patient balances
Collecting surgical fees
Appointment confirmations
Any other duties as assigned
Office hours :
Monday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Tue, Wed & Thurs: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am to 4:00pm
With the exception of surgery days, front desk alternates and will arrive at 6:15/6:30
1/2 hour lunch daily
Benefits:
Medical effective 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
Dental effective 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
Vision effective 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
401(K) Effective 1st of the month after 1 year of full time employment
6 paid holiday effective immediately
PTO time earned per pay period
