Florida Retina Specialists is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Melbourne, FL

Florida Retina Specialists with offices in Merritt Island and Viera, FL is looking for a Ophthalmic Technician to join our cohesive team of enthusiastic, caring people who enjoy serving patients. Ophthalmology or Medical experience is very helpful. We will train. The ideal candidate is friendly, trustworthy, pays attention to detail, works well in fast-paced clinic and enjoys being around patients. Responsibilities

    *Work-up patients and prepare them to be seen by the doctor *Diagnostic Pre-testing with ophthalmic imaging machines *Scribing for the doctor in the exam room using electronic medical records *Assisting with minor in-office procedures

Qualifications

    *Attention to detail with electronic medical records *Works well in fast-paced setting, fast learner *Friendly with patients *Some phlebotomy experience, or willingness to learn

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
