Florida's top-rated NEMT provider is looking for qualified Paratransit Drivers to join our rapidly growing team. PD's are responsible for getting members to and from their medical appointments in a friendly, compassionate, and efficient manner utilizing our state-of-the-art fleet of NEMT vehicles. We provide everything necessary to work including vehicles, equipment, fuel, and uniforms.
Responsibilities include transporting wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory members from door-through-door, loading and unloading passengers, coordinating instructions from the dispatch team and NEMT software to ensure optimal routing of trips, operating a hydraulic lift to safely load and unload wheelchairs/stretchers, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all on board.
PD's must conduct vehicle inspections at the beginning and end of their shift according to established procedures, maintain their vehicles and cleanliness, report needed repairs and service maintenance to supervisor, maintain full knowledge of the vehicle’s equipment and proper use at all times, complete documents and maintenance records clearly and accurately, and participate in regular training and educational opportunities.
