Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining installment loans and providing exceptional customer service throughout the loan process. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the eligibility of borrowers
- Collect and analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is obtained
- Provide expert advice on loan options, interest rates, and terms
- Collaborate with underwriters and processors to facilitate timely loan approvals
- Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage products, services, and industry regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources
- Stay updated on market trends, interest rates, and changes in lending guidelines

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in a bank or financial institution
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage servicing, credit analysis, and financial services
- Familiarity with accounting software and 10-key typing
- Strong understanding of FDCPA and NACHA guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations is preferred
