Floating Docks Mfg. Co is Hiring a CAD Designer Near Indianapolis, IN
```Duties```
- Develop drawings in AutoCad for projects
- Work closely with CAD team, Sales and Manufacturing so that drawings will convey the correct information
- Create bills of material and shop prints for various projects
-Able to do basic design elements
- Ability to work on the shop floor as your projects move through production
- Be able to work in and with an ERP system
- Perform other duties as required
- Maintain organized files and records of all drafted designs
```Requirements```
- Degree in computer aided drafting or similar field preferred
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer/ Drafter or similar role
- Experience with AutoCad and Inventor
- Experience with a manufacturing environment ERP system preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong knowledge of design principles and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with departments team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design issues
