Responsibilities:

-schedule appointments

-Pretest patients for doctor

- Administer retinal scans, visual fields, additional testing needed by doctor
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Adjust frames to ensure proper fit and comfort
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and contact lenses
- Keep accurate records of customer information and transactions

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Proficient in using optical equipment, such as lensometers and pupilometers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and precise adjustments
- Familiarity with medical records and billing systems, such as Revolution
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for maintaining cleanliness in the dispensing area
