We are seeking an experienced friendly and knowledgeable Surgery Scheduler to join our team. The primary responsibilities for the successful candidates will be to provide thorough and professional support to patients and doctors during their visit here at Flint OBGYN. We're looking for someone who is interested in a career in ob/gyn, and someone who is able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and who has excellent communication and computer skills, this is a must. Only Experienced individual's need apply.

Responsibilities:

• MUST be able to use EMR systems fluently
• Experienced in medical terminology
• Experienced using ICD10 and Cpt coding
• Excellent verbal & written skills, a must
• Answer the phones, make appointments
• Navigate through all insurance websites
• Obtaining prior authorizations for surgeries
• Work closely with providers
• Reception help as needed
• Medical records request
• Disability forms
• All other task assigned by office manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
