Flint Dental Associates is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Flint, MI

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding dental practice.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records

Skills:
- Proficiency and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with Eaglesoft
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Current certification in Dental Assisting (RDA) preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
