Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Maintenance Technician to the Sheldahl team located in Northfield, MN. This position is supporting night shift and will primarily have hours of 10:30 pm – 6:30 am Su-F Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician role involves… What a typical day looks like: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic automated manufacturing systems; Including, programmable logic controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and belt and chain drive conveyor systems. Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules. Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment. Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Typically requires 2 years of related experience and/or trade knowledge. Demonstrates advanced technical skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals and engineering sketches, and utilize complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics and a variety of precision measuring instruments.
