Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Shipping Supervisor to oversee our shipping department. The Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Supervise and train shipping department staff to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment - Coordinate with other departments to prioritize and schedule shipments - Oversee the packaging, labeling, and documentation of outgoing shipments - Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment - Coordinate with carriers to arrange transportation and track shipments - Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments - Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments or deliveries - Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus - Proven experience as a Shipping Supervisor or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, including packaging, labeling, and documentation requirements - Proficient in using forklifts and other material handling equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as shipping manifests and product specifications - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is preferred - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools is preferred If you are a highly motivated individual with excellent leadership skills and a strong background in shipping operations, we encourage you to apply for this position.
