A Tool And Die Maker is responsible for operating machinery that produces metal parts and tools. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining, tool and die making and CNC programming, as well as knowledge of industrial maintenance, tools and equipment. A Tool And Die Maker will be responsible for operating machinery to produce metal parts and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the production supervisor to determine material and labor needs.
- Work with engineers and designers to create tools and dies needed.
- Create tools and dies with hand or machine tools.
- Inspect parts before they go out of the plant.
- Work with the shop floor supervisor to resolve quality problems.
- Practice good housekeeping habits.
- Follow OSHA regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
