Job Description: Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Collect and manage evidence in support of internal audits and third-party compliance assessments and certification reviews. Assist Security and Compliance Analysist in performing required audit procedures, including the testing of unbiased samples. Coordinate with the audited area to obtain documentation of workflow, normally by observation of job processes and interviewing staff members; may also include completion of internal control questionnaire. Collect, and document information to support audit results. Prepare written documentation for review. Meet with audited area's management to discuss report and options for resolution of audit issues. Monitor outstanding issues and exceptions until resolved. Assist with the referencing and filing of audit work papers. Assist external auditors by completion of advance work papers and by aiding them when they are on-site. Respond to internal and external requests for compliance documentation. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding the organization’s compliance program. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years’ experience or related in a regulatory environment or IT security, audit, or compliance field. Excellent people and proactive communications skills. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through electronic means. Ability to read, interpret, and communicate policy, procedure and regulatory requirements to team members and business partners. Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments, and meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills or the ability to develop, to see outside the box, and the ability to create economical, effective and efficient solutions. General overall knowledge of information technology operations. Ability to learn compliance program frameworks such as HITRUST, NIST, PCI DSS, SOC, and ISO requirements. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project), SharePoint and Service Now. Some travel is involved in this position.
