To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a CNC Mill Machinist located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the CNC Mill Machinist role involves performing a variety of complex, specialized tasks related to the construction, repair, maintenance, and calibration of machine shop tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and instruments.

What a typical day looks like :

• Operates various machine shop equipment such as CNC mills, CMMs, and automation cells to produce a variety of small parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances.
• Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) vertical mills with Makino / Fanuc controller and Roeders controller.
• Performs machine set-ups, adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to machined parts to specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
• Checks machined parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances.
• Required to operate numerical control machines.

The experience we're looking to add to our team :

• High School diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Tooling
• CNC Milling experience required
• CMM experience preferred
• Electrode manufacturing preferred
• 3R Automation experience preferred
