Duties and Responsibilities 

• Must stay current on all available Mercedes-Benz training including certification requirements.

• Must be proficient in the use of technology devices after training.

• Must be able and willing to interact with customers in the Sales Showroom and Lounge.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to gathering information to help Sales and Sales Management. This may include giving customers documents prepared by Management, The Dealer, and by The Manufacturer. 

• This position will not require the ability to make a sales presentation, and will not require a sales license.

• Must represent the values of FJMC and treat all customers as friends of the company. Appearance must be professional in nature, and activities that will generate positive social media reviews are paramount to continued employment. 

• When asked by the Manager to interact with the client with specific actions or verbiages, those directions must be followed, and the Sales Concierge must report back to the Manager.

• Reports must be timely and accurate.

• Sales Concierges are not allowed to drive customers’ cars, even on FJMC property.

• We must show customers that we appreciate their business at all times.

• Must clock in and out and take the required 30-minute break every 5 hours.

• Must bring to the immediate attention of management any perceived or real conflict or problem with a Fletcher Jones Guest, Salesperson, Vendor, or our partner Mercedes-Benz.

• Must demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with all dealer personal.

• Maintains strict confidentiality of personal information of our customers in compliance with the Federal trade commission Safeguards Rule, implementing the provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act as it pertains to automobile dealerships.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be committed to never ending improvement.

Must be available to work during weekends.

Education

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, must be fluent in the English language.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence is a requirement. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization is a plus; multi-language fluency is a plus, but neither is a requirement.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
