Fletch is Hiring a Customer Service/Scheduler Near Petoskey, MI

Primary Objective of this Position: To generate traffic for the dealership by handling leads such as: past leads, referrals, phones, and internet leads. Create excitement and set appointments for the service professionals. Also responsible for prospecting the customer base to develop new leads and interest that do not currently exist within the dealership’s database.

Basic Requirements: Professionalism on the phones, the computer, and in person. Have the ability to make a compelling introduction and engage customers. Willingness to participate in skills and product training. Multi-tasker and excellent service skills. The desire to meet and exceed goals, along with being persistent and a self-starter. Must be proficient with computers, emails, smart phones and the web.

Work Environment: Primarily working at a desk in an office setting with a computer and phone. Will require communicating between buildings with service staff – will require mobility. Team player.

Essential Duties:

  • Respond to inbound phone calls and internet inquiries to develop customer trust and generate customer visits (appointments) to the dealership.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss current service promotions.
  • Create and set appointments for customers to bring their vehicles into the dealership for maintenance services in the service department
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and produce referrals and self-generated leads/appointments to increase service traffic.
  • Utilize the dealership’s customer database to generate opportunities for prospecting service appointments
  • Utilize and promote opportunities through the service drive appointments and follow up.
  • Work within the CRM system updating notes, appointments, and completing tasks to maintain consistent and continuous contact with our customers as directed.
  • Communicate daily with the service advisors and service manager as opportunities and/or issues arise.
  • Work with our BDC support, learning proper scripts and techniques to enhance sales and appointment opportunities.
  • Complete all manufacturer training as required.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested by management.
  • Comply with all rules, regulations and policies pertaining to customer confidentiality, privacy, do not call lists and telemarketing; along with all state and federal regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
