DIESEL TRUCK TECHNICIAN

FLEETMASTERS SALES & SERVICE

Windsor Locks, CT

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. Our technicians work on a wide variety of trucks and equipment and Fleetmasters is a Cummins Certified Dealer that is factory authorized to perform warranty service. We also encourage Cummins certification and training for our technicians with paid training incentives. We have a great team of people and a wonderful working environment. Scope of work:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of heavy trucks
  • Positive interface with service writers, parts department and managers
  • Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience as a diesel truck or heavy equipment technician
  • Experience repairing engine, hydraulic or electrical systems
  • Ability to repair heavy duty brakes, suspension, steering and other chassis related repairs
  • Skilled with troubleshooting and diagnostics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour
