On behalf of its customers, FleetGenius, manages both plastic and steel cart inventories, delivery, retrieval, and repairs, as well as warranty management and end of life recycling. FleetGenius is a paperless company, and all work actions are recorded electronically. FleetGenius Lenoir is the metal fabrication facility that manufactures waste Units.
Job position: Fabricator

Job Type: Full-Time

 
Pay: WEEKLY PAY
 
Payrate: $15.50 - $17.00 D.O.E
 
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8hr shifts plus OT if needed and Saturdays
Description of work:

• Read and understand measuring devices (i.e. tape measure)
• Understand mathematics, decimals, fractions, etc.
• Maintain and be accountable for equipment and tools used.
• Recognize and use various material types, sized and thickness.
• Conduct daily sling and lifting device inspections.
• Be trained as a shear, brake, iron worker and corner notch operator.
• Understand various machine capacities (materials that can be processed)

Expectations:

• Work safely and follow safety policies.
• Safely operate electrical hand tools (i.e., drill, grinder, saws)
• Safely operate oxy/ace torches and handheld plasma torches
• Safely operate over head lifting devices (i.e., hoists and cranes)
• Safely lift and stack 50lbs
• Maintain clean workspace.
• Follow and retain instruction.
• Work with fellow employees in a team environment.
• Maintain a determined level of Proficiency & Quality
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Fabrication experience preferred but not required. We can train.
• Able to read a tape measure to a 1/16.”
• Physical Requirements:
• Requires lifting, pushing, pulling up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods of time.
