Fleet Truck Tires is a rapidly growing commercial tire vendor with operations in Charlotte and Westminster VT. We are currently looking to add to our team for.

Outside Commercial Tire Sales Rep ( SIGN ON BONUS $1500 )

Sales location- Northern, Central VT

Job description:

  • Ability to prospect new business, forman action plan and successfully execute it Outside Commercial Tire Sales
  • Manage Heavy Truck, OTR, Agricultural, and Light Truck customer base in given area
  • Maintain existing business and establish prospective business through value driven customer specific product and service recommendations
  • Utilize our internal CRM software to build customer profiles, submit orders, andquote's
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
  • Monitor local competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, and delivery and service capabilities.
  • Ethically meet and exceed sales and profitability expectations through best practices

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company supported products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Always represent one's self and company professionally and maintain a professional appearance
  • Self-schedule and best manage time by creating and executing a work plan.
  • Willingness to help with various duties outside of normal functions such as inventory counts, occasional deliveries, store coverage, etc.
  • Work closely and as a team player with store, distribution, and office support personnel
  • Assist the Credit Manager in ensuring timely payment from assigned customer base.

Requirements:

  • Driver's License & clean driving record (required)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required 5 years of progressive sales experience in a related field required Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field preferred.
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks which may include fleet tire surveys, light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, sitting and squatting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to self-schedule Ability to
  • prospect new business, forman action plan, and successfully execute it

Physical Demands:

This role is required to sit, walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle,or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and,kneel, Exert 20-100 pounds of force occasionally
