HYGIENE COORDINATOR

POSITION SUMMARY

The Hygiene Coordinator at Flawless Smile Dentistry is a key member of the team, working with providers and patients to make sure that the patients are seen. This role is responsible for making sure that providers have patients returning so that we can best serve our patients and give them an amazing experience. The Hygiene Coordinator is key to keeping production on track for the office.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Insurance verification and break down for HYG side
• A/R for incoming HYG patients
• Call and confirm all upcoming HYG appointments
• Paperwork updates; HIPAA, health history for upcoming appointments
• Frequency limitation verification for services pertaining to HYG
• Call unscheduled HYG patients (30/day).

• Understand all XRAY types and be able to update appointments correctly with correct type
• Understand appointment types; perio, SRP, adult and child prophy, and denture cleaning differences

• Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• 3 months dental experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time

● Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs

● Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
