Position Title: Host & Food Runner

Summary:
As a Host/Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service in a restaurant setting. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, clearing and setting tables, and delivering food to diners in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hosting: Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly while ensuring their needs are met.
• Bussing: Clear tables efficiently, reset them with clean tableware, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Food Running: Assist in the kitchen by delivering food orders to the correct tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Customer Service: Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless coordination of service.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to varying tasks as needed.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with OpenTable is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
