POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Flatland Energy Services Safety Compliance Coordinator’s primary purpose is promoting occupational health awareness, maintaining and training workforce on safety policies. The compliance coordinator will provide office support in regards to safety efforts across the organization.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for our Safety Operations.
• Administrative duties include taking safety meeting minutes, JSAs, SOPs, updating compliance websites & tracking employee training requirements.
• Ensure the completeness and maintenance of all records, documents or reports related to assigned safety and health programs.
• Updating employee lists for all safety websites. 
• May assist with preparation of reports, graphs, and presentation materials to communicate key safety statistics.
• Support location in record-keeping of Occupational Safety and Health programs.
• Supporting the development and editing of department SOPs.
• Responsible for all computer-based activities such as data collection.
• Responsible for collecting drug and alcohol specimens for onboarding process.
• Tracking corrective actions and incident data through KPA EHS.
• Reviewing important safety documents.
• Analyzing health and safety data.
• Presenting periodic safety training sessions to the company.
• Assists with online training (KPA), including maintaining schedule and assigning Safety training, and preparing reports.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• High school degree or GED. 
• Oil and gas construction experience a plus
• Strong communication skills to relay information more effectively to others within an organization. 
• Problem-solving skills 
• Proficient with computers and technology is required. 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
