Flanders is Hiring a Distribution specialist Near Evansville, IN
Our Corporate team is looking to hire the right individual to join us as our Distribution Quoting Specialist. This role will work with internal team members and applicable vendors to prepare and provide competitive, accurate quotes related to our distributed products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotes and estimates for our distributed products.
- Pick template or form based on information available.
- Establish scope of work.
- Manage RFQs from Sales, Business Development, Engineering and Field Engineering. Utilize Approval Matrix as needed.
- Maintain appropriate Distribution product certifications, requirements, knowledge of products.
- Seek Legal’s input on Terms & Conditions where needed.
- Manage RFQ list in progress / queue.
- Request quotes if needed from Shipping and Buyers.
- Identify billing milestones.
- Manage quoted waiting on approval list, following up where needed.
- Gather data on criteria for quotes from internal team members.
- Address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Proactively identify and address areas of concern or improvement.
