Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Responsibilites include, but not limited to:

1. Customer Interaction: Greet and seat customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on dishes or specials.

2. Order Accuracy: Ensure accurate order taking, input orders into the system, process front end orders, and communicate special requests to the kitchen.

3. Service Efficiency: Serve food and beverages promptly, check in with customers during their meals, and clear tables efficiently.

4. Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the chicken restaurant's menu, including preparation methods, ingredients, and potential allergens.

5. Upselling: Skillfully suggest additional menu items, sides, or promotions to enhance the dining experience and contribute to sales.

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and other restaurant personnel to maintain a smooth and efficient service.

7. Cleanliness: Maintaining clean personal hygiene, contribute to maintaining a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, resetting them, ensuring a tidy appearance, and keeping restrooms clean.

8. Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management if needed.

9. Payment Processing: Handle customer payments accurately, process transactions, cash handling, and provide correct change when applicable.

10. Compliance: Adhere to food safety regulations, health standards, and the restaurant's policies and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.13 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Quick service & fast food restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Ridgewood, NJ 07450: Relocate before starting work (Required)
