Flagstone Senior Living is Hiring a Staffing Coordinator Near The Dalles, OR

The position is responsible for the daily management of Staffing Coordination in the Assisted Living community at Flagstone Senior Living community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identifies the community's staffing needs and develops strategies to fulfill them.
  2. Screens candidates and supports the recruitment process by coordinating interviews with appropriate department heads.
  3. Ensures company training process and/or policy compliance.
  4. Ensures the compliance of all staffing procedures with the company policies and State standards.
  5. Assists with employee work schedules, including training schedules, initial onboarding schedule and training documentation to be completed.
  6. Prepares timely staffing reports (submits draft schedules for Executive Director approvals timely) and provides staffing schedule updates for management daily, weekly, and monthly at designated dates as determined by the Executive Director in compliance with Milestone expectations.
  7. Ensures correct employee compensation by collaborating with Business Office Manager, Executive Director, and Milestone support team.
  8. Maintains all necessary certifications to work as a caregiver and/or med tech in emergency situations, as well as provide direct oversight/training of new staff.
  9. Always maintains knowledge and demonstration of Milestone's vision and mission for community Culture.
  10. Provide shared on-call responsibilities to ensure shifts are covered and care tasks are completed as assigned.
  11. Coordinate and partner with the Business Office to complete monthly, quarterly, and as-needed audits of clinical team employee files for compliance with all State education and licensure requirements, Company minimum employment requirements.
  12. Responsible for excellence in communication with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, taking actions, which assist others beyond job responsibilities and having a positive impact on team and community.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in a field related to the position. Computer Literacy. CNA or Home Care Aide Certification preferred or ability to obtain., must be self-motivated, able to work independently and make sound and timely decisions. Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented. Must have proven ability to communicate effectively, customer service experience and a strong focus on confidentiality and professionalism. Must have an ability to read, analyze, interpret, and complete documentation in fluent English.


Minimum one-year experience in Assisted Living. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
