Social Media & Digital Manager

Our marketing department is looking for a highly experienced, creative social genius with a hunger for innovation to join our team and take our digital presence to the next level. This Social Media & Digital Manager will be the paid media expert of the marketing department, taking the lead on social media innovation while combining the focus of online media’s analytical strategy and bringing our brands to life. This position will play a crucial role in strategically advancing our company’s engagement and revenue through targeted and effective reach in paid and organic media platforms. This leadership role involves overseeing a small team and requires a hands-on approach while leading integrated paid media partnerships that align with our team’s goals and company’s innovative approach. The ideal candidate for this role will be an exceptional communicator with strong leadership organization and creative skills and has a proven track record for driving results in a multi-brand company. We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital media, understands the importance of creating content that resonates with our audience, and is eager to stay ahead of the latest trends in the industry while ensuring a successful investment, building brand affinity, conversions, and profit. *Please note: This is not a remote position and would require working from our home office in Omaha, Nebraska*

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • This position will play a key role in building the organization’s digital presence across diverse audiences and segments through social media, content creation, data analysis, and data management
  • Report to and collaborate with the Director of Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy
  • Bring the excitement, energy and vibrant experience of our brands to life by strategizing on compelling and engaging content for social media platforms while putting traffic conversion strategy at the forefront
  • Provide thought leadership and subsequently implement recommendations in support of media strategy, investment opportunities, and the evolving media landscape
  • Monitor social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for content optimization, audience targeting, and campaign performance improvement
  • Strategically define and research various media tools and analysis that are best for reporting, planning, and paid or non-paid media performance such as email, social planning, social scheduling, video apps, photography editing solutions, etc.
  • Lead media measurement, analytics, and financial expectations to identify KPIs and evaluate ROI
  • Manage all social media budgets by restaurant and allocate any spend accordingly
  • Complete campaign audits and digital results to prior year or prior campaigns while ensuring expert feedback based on improvement needs
  • Be an expert in what does well on social platforms while understanding how to execute them personally including reels, short film videos, cuts, transitions, photo angles, content, copy, and high engaging content strategy
  • Collaborate with operations in restaurant alongside your team executing POV, behind the scenes, and influencer style content
  • Research, manage and be the lead in influencer marketing with full execution plans and restaurant communication, while managing influencer results and expectations
  • Collaborate to create and implement strategic communication plans that may include search engine marketing (SEM), digital display advertising, social media marketing, social listening, social mirroring, email marketing and funnels, and emerging digital marketing methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve website functionality, user interface, accessibility, search engine optimization (SEO), user experience (UX) and the overall visitor journey from a repeat guest perspective while also encouraging an elevated trial experience
  • Work closely with the Director of Digital Marketing & Brand Strategy on Google Ad strategy and execution
  • Execute and be the lead in email marketing driving campaign strategy, asset review and maximization, and execution, tracking, and reporting on performance
  • Be a motivated part of the leadership team by coaching and developing a small team that has clearly defined goals and expectations based on your expertise
  • Be a leading part of the communication and collaboration with marketing department cross-functional teams when it comes to digital media needs, goals, and content/copy expectations

WHAT WE’LL BE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred
  • 5 years of experience with social media strategy, planning, and content creation with proven results
  • Experience with analysis to estimate and prove return on investment (ROI)
  • Proven success in developing and implementing innovative social media campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to own a significant budget and work with the marketing team as well as operations team in overall media budget management
  • Experience leading social media brand voice, content, and/or execution strategy for a hospitality-based company is encouraged
  • Expert in social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in social media and paid advertising
  • Skilled in photography and/or videography
  • Google Ad, SEO, SEM, and UX experience preferred
  • Advanced written and oral communications skills, with practical experience presenting to executives and owners
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple concepts in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines
  • Experience developing team members and being a strong mentor-style coach
  • Strong collaboration skills with an open mind while being an expert in your role
  • Extreme attention to detail
