Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various areas, ensuring a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests. Responsibilities: - Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards - Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries - Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors - Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel - Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing - Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned Qualifications: - Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently - Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance - Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members Skills: - Ability to cook basic meals if required - Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests - Proficiency in various housekeeping management techniques - Knowledge of proper sanitation practices - Familiarity with custodial duties and equipment operation - Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus - Ability to launder linens and towels as needed - Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
