Job Description:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of products to meet company standards of safety, productivity, and customer service. This includes operating forklifts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the warehouse is clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, put-away, stack, pick, stage palletized material using a forklift
• Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks
• Check loads are secure
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain equipment in good condition
• Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA regulations
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid certification to operate forklifts (OSHA forklift certification)
• Proven experience as forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Knowledge of safety processes and legislation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse data systems
• Team player with good communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
