Fjällräven is Hiring a Remote Associate Creative Director for the Americas

Fjällräven is seeking a seasoned Associate Creative Director to spearhead creative initiatives across our brand's landscape in the Americas. As the Associate Creative Director, you will serve as a catalyst for storytelling, leading the charge in crafting and delivering compelling narratives that resonate with outdoor enthusiasts in the Americas. Your creative expertise will be instrumental in building our brand's awareness, driving engagement, and propelling Fjällräven into its next chapter of global growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Creative Director at Fjällräven North America, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing Director for the Americas and the Global Creative Team to shape and communicate our brand story in the US, Canada, and LATAM. You will be instrumental in developing and executing creative concepts across seasons and large-scale projects.

This full-time, exempt position is based out of our offices in Louisville, CO (in office 4 days per week).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director for the Americas and the Global Creative Team to develop seasonal, product, or event marketing creative concepts.
  • Ensure creative consistency across all marketing channels while aligning with the brand's overarching narrative.
  • Present concepts and ideas to internal and external stakeholders, including management teams and retail partners.
  • Brief cross-functional teams and external partners on creative projects.
  • Guide and collaborate with various teams to integrate holistic creative programs.
  • Lead creative team members and production partners to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Provide creative operations/project management support to creative projects to ensure efficient resource allocation and project delivery.
  • Provide direction and feedback on visual design, product design, UX/UI, social media, retail, and experience design.
  • Produce and edit creative content as needed, including copy, video, social media, and digital assets.
  • Identify creative opportunities to enhance the brand's presence and drive business growth.

WHO YOU ARE

You have had the following experiences in your career journey:

  • Five or more years in a modern integrated creative role at an agency or client-side, showcasing strong organization and project management skills in handling complex creative projects.
  • Track record of developing and executing holistic creative projects with measurable results.
  • Experience leading teams in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
  • Previous experience with a high-profile consumer, outdoor/sport, or lifestyle brand.

You possess the following skills and knowledge

  • Ability to conceptualize and execute big creative ideas across various communication channels.
  • Proficiency in production processes, with personal or professional experience.
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and storytelling.
  • Strong attention to detail and a history of exceeding expectations.

The anticipated wage for this position is $90,000-100,000 annually.
