Job Description:

What you’ll do:

• You will implementing IIOT / Digital Manufacturing solutions and experience in converting business requirement into functional requirements.
• You will Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation to guide development and implementation efforts.
• You will be providing consulting experience in digital manufacturing with expertise in mapping manufacturing operations to Industry 4.0 use cases.
• You will Create comprehensive process documentation, Digital logbooks, including process flows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

Must Haves:

• 10-14 Years of expertise in manufacturing processes and automation including production, control, quality management and maintenance.
• Possess strong understanding of machine connectivity, data collection, business KPI calculation, business value mapping and data munging.
• Proficiency in IIOT technologies and protocols, such as MQTT, OPC-UA, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (Ex. AWS).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and platforms, such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex manufacturing systems and identify improvement opportunities.

Good to have skills:

• Experience with industrial automation systems, SCADA and data acquisition systems.
• Certifications in IIOT or related fields (e.g., Certified IoT Professional, Certified Industrial Automation Professional, etc.).
• Familiarity with manufacturing-related software applications, such as ERP systems or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)is a plus.
• Experience in Aluminum manufacturing industry is plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $51.93 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
