We are looking for a Weekend Office Dispatcher. Hours will be from 8 pm -8 am Saturday and Sunday- We do have a office dog that is here all the time

Responsibilities will include:

• Answering calls on multiple lines and processing payments
• Scheduling and dispatching drivers, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs
• Make optimal use of available resources to ensure that calls are completed within the projected estimated time of arrival (ETA), that resources are efficiently deployed and routed, that correct equipment is dispatched to meet members' needs and relays calls to back-up facility when ETA appears in jeopardy.
• Maintains frequent and timely communications with drivers on the status of calls that have been dispatched. Maintains close communications with facilities providing service, and notifies them whenever drivers cannot be contacted, or when other problems arise.
• Using telephones or text messages to contact employees or emergency personnel
• Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
• Preparing work orders/estimates (training will be provided) for mechanics
• Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
• Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes and personnel
• Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties
• Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
• Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to process and apply payments accordingly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
