Job Specifications
Summary:
This position is to support needs in mechanical design, equipment integration and support of the process teams in piping and utilities. The primary focus of this position is to support 3D piping using Plant 3D. Inventor piping experience would be a plus.
OSHA 10/30 hour Construction Certificate preferred. (Incumbent must be OSHA Construction Certified.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
Primary focus will be 3D piping design and process general arrangement.
Mechanical systems design and equipment integration
Secondary focus on equipment layout and material handling

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design and piping systems required. Previous HVAC design experience is a plus
Must have experience in preparing packages for contractor quotations or fabrication.
Working knowledge of fabrication and construction techniques. Former fabrication or construction experience is a plus.
Must be experienced in general arrangements and equipment layouts.
Prior experience and working knowledge of piping design in Autodesk Plant3D required.
Experience in other packages such as Revit, would be an asset.
Must be organized, have a positive attitude and utilize good communication skills.
Must work well in a team environment yet be able to work independently and coordinate with others.
Experience in working with point clouds is a plus.
