Fives Group is seeking a Electrical Production Supervisor

The purpose of this position is to provide sound technical leadership and mentoring to ensure the transfer of technical knowledge, as well as to ensure that quality standards, cost requirements and customer specific requirements are met. This includes coordinating and implementing the most effective and economical ways to produce and deliver the highest quality components and machine tools on time.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Make work assignments for assembly and/or assembly logistics and shipping groups in a fair and equitable manner.
• Provide technical support to employees, assist in problem solving.
• Mentor / train new employees and/ or current employees on new equipment or assembly processes.
• Communicate with other departments and management as needed for smooth operation of assembly operations.
• Work with Assembly Management to resolve problems with equipment, product, procedures and personnel issues.
• Coordinate and build machine tools, accessories, repairs or subcontract work including disassembly for shipment. Active participation in the machine build process from the beginning of the unit build cycle through customer acceptance, including coordination with test engineering and inspection is required.
• Recommend changes to improve the efficiency of the department.
• Maintain a safe, clean & orderly working area and report any issues or concerns.
• Occasional travel to customer facility may be required.
• Assist Assembly Management and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 4 - 6 years related experience and/or training.

• Prefer prior leadership experience
• Effective problem solving skills and ability to solve technical problems
• Strong electrical aptitude
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet customer expectations
• Comfort with presenting information to different levels of individuals
• Ability to Communicate at all levels in organization
• Ability to elevate and communicate
• Intermediate business management system skills (SAP preferred)
• Intermediate Document Management System (PLM) skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Basic Microsoft Word

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
