Fives Group is looking for an Accountant to join our team in the Bowling Green, OH area.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Prepares journal entries and adjustments.
• Assists in the preparation of financial statements for all entities.
• Reconciles bank statements.
• Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory statements.
• Assists in monthly closing procedures.
• Prepares accounting reports and may analyze accounting records to determine causes of results shown
• Documents and updates accounting procedures.
• Performs various business analytics
• Complete tax returns and census as needed
• Handles highly proprietary information in a confidential manner at all times.
• Assists with various clerical duties as necessary (A/P, A/R, etc.).

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Master's Degree or CPA is preferred but not required
• 5 years experience in accounting
• Experience working for a manufacturing or industrial related company
• Knowledge and experience in Excel
• Sharp Communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail
• Work in Team Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
