SUMMARY
The Field Technician is responsible for collecting data and conducting assessments in the field related to utilities infrastructure, such as fiber optics, electric, gas, and water. Key responsibilities of the Field Technician may include conducting site surveys, documenting existing network infrastructure, assessing environmental conditions, and collecting data on utility poles and existing utilities. This role plays a critical part in supporting the design and construction teams and requires proficiency in using various types of data collection tools and software to accurately record and report their findings, including GIS and applied technology methods.
