Dental Assistant

ABOUT FIVE RIVERS HEALTH CENTERS

The Five Rivers Health Center is an expanding Federal Qualified Health Center located in Dayton and Xenia, Ohio providing a medical home for low-income patients. Our growing organization empowers staff to make a difference every day in the lives of others and is committed to provide quality, cost-effective care for our patients and community, with respect and dignity, without regard of ability to pay.

Position Overview

The Dental Assistant must abide by various regulatory compliance rules and must always treat patients with dignity and respect. The Dental Assistant will work between multiple FRHC Dental sites.

General Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination of the patient visit
  • Assist the Dentist through patient flow coordination
  • Provide chair-side assistance when scheduled in the treatment area

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Dental Radiographers license required
  • Formal Dental Assisting training preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ of dental office experience preferred
  • Windows-based computer experience required
